These coastal rainbow trout fillets are harvested from trout raised at sustainable, aquaculture facilities in North Portugal as well as Norway. They are cold-smoked at temperatures below 32°C, in Sweden, by the same person who provides smoked goods to the King of Sweden! This makes a ton of sense to us, since this tin is fit for royalty!
The fillets are paired with a fruity olive oil and imbued with the flavors of dill and fennel to produce an exceptional tin of fish. The trout itself is buttery, tender, melt in your mouth and incredibly fresh tasting.
Enjoy it on your morning bagel, straight from the tin with just a squeeze of lemon, or served alongside a salad.
Store at ambient temperature. If not completely consumed, store in sealed container and keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
