Terada Honke, brewing since the 1670s, makes wild, old-school sakes using organic rice, natural yeast and in-house cultured koji-kin. Masaru Terada, the 24th-generation brewery head, continues the traditional approach to sake brewing, with production centred around traditional manual methods.
The discovery of an ancient document and years of trial and error led to this one-of-a-kind sake, made from sprouted brown rice. You'll either love it or hate it.
